This long length drape dress is a bit of a departure from my usual designs. I am trying something new!

It has a cold shoulder neckline with the top hem gathered all the way around on a very wide striped elastic strap creating a lovely ruched effect around the neckline. Because it is on elastic it has some stretch in it although it is not loose by any means. The elastic has a multicoloured stripe woven into it, adding a little fleck of colour detail to the shoulder.

The hem is hooked up on one side to create this beautiful A-line drape effect and the dress is fixed with a freestyle belt that you can tie to fit whatever your waistline.

This dress is made from a comfortable silky blend stretch fabric which I have used before and which hangs perfectly. The design has been inspired by historical Grecian dresses and is perfect for hot climates where you don't want tight clothing or if you don't like dresses that cling to all your curves whilst still providing an unfussy elegant look for both day and evening wear.

This design is perfect for beach holidays, wedding events and formal gatherings and can be dressed up or down as much as you want. It is perfect with some statement jewellery and heels as well as flat summer sandals.

Due to the design of this dress, it is designed to fit multiple sizes from a UK12 to a UK16. It is shown here on a mannequin with UK14 measurements:

Bust: 39 inches
Waist: 32 inches
Hips: 42 inches

Taut length of the shoulder line: 34 inches with stretch to 2 or 3 inches.

Length from shoulder to longest part of the hem: 50 inches
